The Pure Joy Basketball Academy will teach athletes what it will take to be successful not only on the basketball court but off of it. Basketball can be used as a tool to take you so many different places, but ultimately understanding how to communicate and deal with people is the key to success on all platforms. Pure Joy’s School Basketball Program (SBP) offers an Expanded Learning Program to teach the skills and training needed to be successful at all levels of basketball. In addition helping students strive to create powerful and consistent habits on and off the basketball court. The SBP helps students learn how to focus on paying attention to details, following directions and promotes exercise.
Pure Joy Basketball provides an activity for students that creates a fun learning environment. The SBP is geared towards children Kindergarten-8th grades. Children are separated into groups according to age and skill level.

Alex Perez
Alex currently plays in Lithuania for B.C. Zalgiris Kaunas and plays a key role on the Mexican National team. He is a very skilled playmaker and team leader. He can score in a variety of ways and more importantly makes the correct game reads. This pro athlete is an evolution of what we teach at Pure Joy Basketball.
Alex Perez is an explosive, skilled and unselfish pro player we have trained and mentored for about 7 years. He consistently creates great daily habits on and off the court, to better his game-play and effectiveness on the team.

Notre Dame High School- Riverside, CA
Notre Dame has allowed us to encourage basketball leadership and impact their players and Community. We are excited to help teach these athletes how to build strong habits on and off the floor. The Titans has an unbelievable 2017-18 Season. They were League Champs, CIF Champs, and also Regional Champs. Although they fell one game short of their ultimate goal of winning State, Coach Robinson is determined to lead his team back this season for unfinished business. And Pure Joy Basketball will do everything in its power to help the Titans with there mission.
